Chugging along...

I was able to go to my happy place The Crafty Scrapper on Friday so I was able to get some good scrapping in. I completed 7 pages then today finished another that I started last Monday when I was there. I haven't scrapped last Christmas, but have already scrapped half of this one! It's been fun anyway! I hope I can keep up this pace as I am FAR from being caught up!!! The first 2 sets of layouts I used Stickles, the first on the title and the second on all the gifts on the bottom of the page.

Out with the old and in with the new...

Happy 2009! The last few days of 2008 I spent scrapping so here are the last layouts of 2008. The first one is of Jordan with her Santa letter. She typed it this year so I was able to get a copy of it. She wrapped up in Mom's robe one Sunday and went over to mail her letter to Santa! Be sure and click on the picture so you can read her letter. It's quite entertaining! The next layout is of her booty from Christmas morning from Santa. The last layout is of sweet little Hannah as Santa baby! What a cutie she is!!! More layouts to come this year in 2009!

It's that time of year...

We finally have some cold temps around so it's getting me in the Christmas spirit. I know we haven't had Thanksgiving yet, but I just love Christmas so much that I wanted to go ahead and dress up my blog since Dean won't let me get the decorations out yet...maybe next weekend... ;0)

We had a great time Halloween night! Our niece and nephew had a Halloween party so we went over there for a howling good time. The kids went trick or treating during the party so they could load up on candy...Here are some pics from the highlights of the night...unfortunately I missed my nephew Ethan the toilet... All J wanted to do was get a pumpkin....I wanted to get pics! So she semi-cooperated so she could get her pumpkin! This may be the last year I can convince her to take pics at the patch... :0(

Fall is in the air....

We finally have some cooler temps, even though today it was 87! So here was our busy day. After church and lunch at mom's, we headed to a piano Halloween party/concert. Jordan did a great job playing her pieces. I uploaded a video of one of the pieces she played "Monster Rock". Then we headed to a fall festival at a local church. Jordan enjoyed a donut-eating contest, face painting ( by her art teacher from school), and playing games and getting a little candy. Then we headed to our niece and nephew's house for pumpkin carving. They had a great time doing that! I was just the photographer... :0) I also got some pics of my super cute great nephew Luke who is 9 months old...what a cutie!!
