Some recent layouts...

I went to a crop at the Crafty Scrapper ( my HAPPY place!) this weekend and had a fantabulous time cropping with friends. I completed 5 layouts while there. Today while waiting for J to get out of basketball camp, I completed 4 more. All of our trip from Branson last summer except the page about the hailstorm we had in April. I thought I should work on Branson pics before we leave again this week for Branson!!!

Gifts galore...

June is just full of gift giving for us! We have Father's Day, Mom's birthday, Dean's birthday, and now a sweet new baby girl's birthday ( more about her later). This year Jordan and I decided (really me and she went along with it) to be crafty with some of the gifts. First, for Father's Day I got some $1 wooden frames at M's. I then gave her the paint bucket and told her to pick a color to paint each frame. I also found some cute foam letters and embellies on sale that were perfect for FD frames. She had a great time making each one. She has one more to make for a late FD present that she will work on tomorrow after VBS. Since we were making those for FD, I decided she could make one for Mom too. She used left over stickers from a letter I made a few weeks ago. All parties loved their frames! Now since I've been making letters for so many people I decided to make one for Mom for her birthday and one for Dean for his. Dean won't get his until Sunday but I hope he likes it. It is about one of his favorite pasttimes! But Mom got her's last week and absolutely loved it!!

Now back to that sweet baby girl. My friend Carrie was expecting a baby girl in July but she had other plans and wanted to be a June baby! I had planned on making her name so last night when I heard she was in labor I got cracking! Her room is purple but I didn't know about the bedding. They told me today that it is pink, purple, and green. This paper couldn't be anymore perfect! It's the new Sweet Baby Jane line from Daisy D's. She was born this morning (June17th) at 12:14 a.m. Happy birthday sweet baby Hannah!!

We survived the recital...

It was a long couple of days but we survived! She did GREAT on all of her dances. I can't wait to get the DVD. I just hope it's good and can see her. We were able to get a few pics sans flash since there was to be no flash photography...we abided by the rules... :0) I'm just happy to have any pics even if they are blurry. These are from her tap number to Sleigh Bells.
These are from her ballet number. It was Waltz of the Flowers. They looked very cute with their flowers... :0)
These are from her jazz number. It was a High School Musical tune and it was her FAVORITE dance!!
We ended the night by giving her some roses. She of course loved them!!

Another order...

The more I do, the faster I get! I knew about this order last week, but got all the info yesterday. I went to the stores last night and came home and started on them. After getting halfway through with them I thought I might as well finish so I did! She couldn't believe it when I told her they were already finished!! These are for her 5 year old niece. She loves pink, dance and ballet, popcorn is her favorite food, loves fishing, loves having her nails painted, and loves swimming. I hope she likes them! OH, and the mom I made the dance letters for took them to the studio and she had people wanting to take orders!! She is going to display them up there with my name and number for me...I might be very busy this summer but that is just fine with me!!!!!
