I heart Lucy and Fleur de Lis!

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner

One of the things I collect is I Love Lucy memorabilia. I have the complete set of DVDs and have seen every episode. I also have most of the episodes of The Lucy Show. I have Lucy pj's and a Lucy purse in addition to these items. I also have several different books on the show and Lucille Ball. If you look at the post below you can see my Christmas tree with my Lucy ornaments.

Vitameatavegamin is my favorite episode with the Chocolate factory coming in a close second.

These are several of the signs I have in my room. I'm running out of wall space for my cute signs!
Another new obsession I have is collecting the fleur de lis. I'm from Louisiana so I'm a big fan of the fleur de lis and the New Orleans Saints! When I told my husband I wanted to redo our bathroom with fleur de lis he was afraid it would be black and gold and for a Cowboy fan that just wouldn't do! I convinced him they came in many colors so therefore I now have a redecorated bathroom!

Even our new mirrors have a fleur de lis design on the frame! And of course, I had to include the pic of me with my daughter with my new fleur de lis necklace!! Thanks for taking a look!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

The decorations are up inside and out. Jordan wanted to decorate the living room tree this year so I let her. She did a good job too. She needed her stool for a few of the higher branches...:0)
She loved watching the ballerina ornament spin around.

The tree after it was all decorated.

This is my pink tree in my scrapbook room. It's filled with Lucy ornaments and other special ornaments. One new one is this one the fleur de lis. I found it and HAD to have it since I am a Louisiana girl by birth... :0)

My beautiful tree in all its glory... :0)

Wow, where has the Summer gone...

I'm 3 weeks away from having to go back to school and I didn't get near as much scrapping done as I wanted to! One thing I have been working on is a special baby album for a dear friend. I won't post all of it now in case she sees my blog, but here is a sneak peek at one of the layouts...I used the Cricut cartridge New Arrival that I bought from Oh My Crafts to make the pregnant lady and the "It's a Girl" phrase...sooo cute!!! I love this cartridge and OMC!! I can't wait to put the whole album together and give it to her... :0)

Letters for a sweet baby boy that will be making his entrance in the near future. :0) I used new paper from Cosmo Cricket and My Little Shoebox and then added just a few little baby embellies by K & CO.... :0) I also stickled around the edges to make them pop a little bit. Thanks for looking! :0)

Happy Spring!!

Happy Spring!! I really needed to update the blog and I really need to figure out how to do it where I can get my words where I want them! Guess that will be a Summer project... :0) At the beginning of March, Dean and Jordan had the Daddy/Daughter Dance at school. I went to take pictures so that was fun! Here are a few pics of them from that night...

At the beginning of Spring break, we took a short trip down to LA and Miss. to visit family. While there, we got to celebrate by cousin's 16th birthday...huh??? When did she grow up into a teenager???!! Happy birthday Krysten!

We also made a stop in Bossier to see my godmother Mrs. Dot and her family. This is her son Billy who was one of my first babysitters... :0)

This weekend I have been scrapping!! They are layouts from our trip last weekend. On this one, I used Stickles on the 16 to make it pop.

For this layout, I outlined the word birthday and the word sweet on the sticker in red stickles...

These pics cracked me up! I just had to scrap them! She was covering her hair so it wouldn't get wet even though she was going home to wash it...huh???
This cracked me up too! Next time we will take a whole roll... :0) OH, and I was out of Ls so I had to use and upside down 7...whatever works!

What a day!!!

The day started out with Jordan playing in the Federation competition at SWTC where she earned a Superior Plus!! That allowed her to come back this afternoon and play in the recital! She was so excited and did a great job! You can hear her in the video above... ;0) The day continued with a fun day celebrating Em's birthday at the mall with a fun scavenger hunt and some shopping. They also had some foto fun in the little booth...too cool! Twas a great day all the way around!!
