Another project completed...

You could say I have been a bbusy beaver today! This is the 3rd set of baby letters I have made and still have 2 more to make! These are for a teacher at school who is having a girl this summer. I checked with her teammate and she said she was doing the nursery in girly pink so these should go just perfect! Anyway, it's hard to tell, but I sanded and inked the edges of each of the letters and around the word princess. Thanks for looking!

A few projects completed...

Today is J's piano teacher's birthday so yesterday I threw together a really quick card. She love it! It took me 5 minutes but it turned out cute. The layout is a sketch challenge that Brook posted on our favorite LSS's forum that we frequent. The bling underneath is called frosting and is from a new company called Glitz...love the bling!! I also used Bazzill brackets (painted) and Bazzill bling paper. I have a few other projects in my head...maybe they will actually make it to the paper! ;0) Most of the week has been spent on the yearbook... :0( And now it's the last day of Spring break...where did the week go???

Brook and I went on a scrappy retreat with our most favorite scrappy store (see post below). We had a most fantabulous time!!! These are all the layouts I completed plus 2 other projects that I forgot to take pics of...I'm a slow scrapper so this is pretty good for me...I can't wait to go again!!! The rest of the layouts are in the next post...

New hair!!

I liked the blonde but I was wanting a little bit of a change. I didn't want to go back as dark as my natural color so Angela suggested we try lowlights with the red. It's definitely something I will have get used to since I'm used to looking in the mirror and seeing blonde hair but I like it! I used to color it red before I met Dean. Matter of fact, I had short, red hair when we met. Here is a picture of how it looked when we were first dating. This was from our first Valentine's day. I will never go that short again but I might go that red! ;0)
